EASY RETURNS!! 21 days to return an item

STEP ONE
Before you return your item, go to verylovelypeople.com and log into My Account, go to My Orders click on the Request RMA button, use the form to submit/create new RMA, select the item to be returned, select from the list the condition of the item being returned, add a comment and click Create RMA button. 

STEP TWO
We will send you a form to fill in to include in your return, the address to return it to and a shipping label to attach to the return parcel.

STEP THREE
Attach the shipping label to the parcel and take to your local Australia post ** Please note: Very Lovely People is not responsible for the costs of returning goods

What is the return policy?

We have 3 rules of returns:

  1. Item(s) needs to be returned within 21 days of purchase;
  2. Unworn and unused with the original tags still attached; and
  3. In the original packaging which must be in the original condition. For more information on returning shoes, swimwear and other hygiene sensitive items, view our Returns Policy below.

Can I return a sale item?

You may exchange for a different size within 14 days from date of purchase (15 days for International orders) Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges. Sorry you cannot return a sale item.

How long does it take to process my return?

Once your return has been received. Your return request will be processed within 1 - 3 business days.

Once processed, your financial institution can take 3 - 5 business days to process the funds back to your account. Please also allow 2 - 4 business days for Australia Post to return your parcel to us.

What are my return options?

We love to keep you as a customer so we have made it easy for you to choose between receiving a store credit, refund and exchange, as long as you return your item within 21 days in the original packaging and original condition with all tags still attached.

**Please note: You will receive your refund in the original form of payment. Unfortunately we cannot refund duties, taxes or shipping charges

Returns Policy

Our Policy:

  1. Full priced items can be returned for a full refund, exchange or online credit. Sale items are non-refundable but can be returned for an exchange or Very Lovely People on-line store credit unless faulty *Please note all refunds incur a $15 a processing and handling fee.
  2. Items must be returned within 21 days – unworn, altered or washed. All items must be returned in original condition and have all tags and original packaging attached.
  3. Footwear must include the original shoebox in its original condition, so please do not alter the box in any way - e.g. do not attach shipping forms, tape or mark the box. Doing so can result in your return being rejected.
  4. Any shipping charges or any related expenses for returning can not be refunded. Very Lovely People is not responsible for the costs of returning goods. Any goods returned are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
  5. Lingerie, swimwear and earrings are non-refundable or exchangeable for hygienic reasons unless faulty. However, items sealed for hygiene reasons can only be returned if the seal is intact. So make sure you love your purchase before you tear into it! Some examples of items which are packaged with this seal are; earrings, swimwear, underwear, hair accessories etc. You are responsible for safely packaging your return to ensure we receive the items in tip-top condition.
  6. If your item is faulty. Our Brands (sellers) aim to provide our customers with products of the highest standard and quality. If you have received an item with a defect, please contact our Customer Service team at hello@verylovelypeople.com so we can guide you through the returns process and help resolve the problem as swiftly as possible. Please note that we'll need a photo or two showing the defect/fault, which will speed up the returns process for you.
  7. If you have received an item different to the one you ordered, please contact our Customer Service team at hello@verylovelypeople.com and we will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
  8. Refunds & Processing Time
    If you notify us via email and we receive your package back within the 21 day time frame, your return request will be processed within 1 - 3 business days.
    Once processed, your financial institution can take 3 - 5 business days to process the funds back to your account. Please also allow 2 - 4 business days for Australia Post to return your parcel to us.
    You will receive an email confirmation to advise that your return has been processed. Refunds will be issued back to you by the same method it was paid eg. Visa card, store credit, Paylpal account etc.

  9. Sale Items
    All ‘On Sale’ items can only be exchanged for items to a greater or equal value. Any difference in price will be liable for payment before the replacement is dispatched. Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges. There are no refunds on items which are 'On Sale', have a 'Special Price' and/or are in the *Sale Items* area
  10. Exchange
    If you need to exchange a size or colour, the quickest way to do it is to re-buy the item in the correct size of colour so ensure that it doesn’t sell out, then simply return your original item for a refund within the 21 day time frame and we will process your refund via the above process see Refunds & Processing Time.
    However you are of course welcome to send us back your item purchased and once received, the Brand (Seller) will dispatch your correct size or colour exchange straight away.

Please be aware that no refunds will be given for ‘On Sale’ items. Please choose carefully.

STEP ONE – Please contact our Customer Service team at hello@verylovelypeople.com with a photograph of the item and a description of the fault, as well as a proof of purchase being either your email order confirmation or bank statement. 
STEP TWO - We will contact the supplier with your issue and respond to your email as quickly as possible with the outcome and the next step you need to take to attain your refund or exchange. 
PLEASE NOTE- The product must have been purchased within 6 months of notification. Wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Very Lovely People is not responsible for the costs of returning goods.

In the event that your item is faulty and needs to be returned to the manufacturer you will need to send it via a traceable method, Australia Post, in a Platinum Express Post bag, to the following Returns address:

Please be aware that Very Lovely People cannot be held responsible for goods that may be lost or damaged during return shipping so please ensure all items being returned must be securely packaged with protective wrapping and clearly addressed. Any items not thoroughly packaged to avoid damage during transit will not be accepted, so please take care when posting.

  • For International returns you must mark on the postal company's consignment  'Returned Goods' to ensure that the items do not attract possible customs duties and taxes once again.
  • The item will be assessed upon return for fault.
  • The Manufacturer will then repair, replace, refund or in circumstances offer an exchange if the item cannot be repaired or replaced. 
  • Replacements are only possible if the item is available. 
  • If an exchange is offered, The Manufacturer will only exchange the item for another item of the same or greater value. In the case of greater valued items, the purchaser will pay the additional costs required to complete the exchange.
  • Refunds will be made through E-Way. The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been received by Very Lovely People however, please allow up to 14 days from the day you return the item for your account to be credited. An email notification of your refund will also be sent to your Very Lovely People Account Email address at this time.

REPAIRS

Repairs to damaged goods are assessed by case and may incur a fee if repair is possible.
